Situated near the Golden Tulip and Eurostar Cellars, this is a quiet and cozy bar with both indoor and outdoor areas.

The drinks are very reasonably priced (like happy hour pricing all the time), and there's a good selection of spirits, wine and beers including some on tap. The service is attentive and very friendly, and they can even provide you with a buzzer to get table service if you're sitting outside.

The "Happy hour" is a misnomer, the discounted prices are actually the permanent prices. While these are generally low, prices in Dubai become comparable during their own happy hours. The place does serve some excellent draft beers, but the ambience leaves a lot to be desired. The food is sourced from the adjacent Golden Tulip Hotel and hence the service, predictably, is very slow. The staff is very courteous, though. Okay for a quick and casual visit, but not as a destination.

Great beer. Friendly staff. They said they would put a pool table in two weeks ago, last week I noticed they had prepared an area for it. Hopefully next time I go it will be there.
