A beautiful peaceful place to sit and watch the sunset over the stunning Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It was built as a memorial to commentate heroes, including soldiers, police, diplomats and civilians, since 1971.

It’s open daily 9am to 10pm and is free of charge. Guided tours are available in English and Arabic

Access to this place is easy. It is free and there are plenty of parking space. There's nothing much to see as it is just a small park with a dedicated shrine to the national heroes of UAE. It also offers a great view of the Grand mosque.

Nice place to click a few instagram selfies and spend time reflecting our life by viewing the amazing reflection of Sheik Zayed mosque. Must visit place for small trips.

Translated as "Oasis of Dignity", Its very famous for capturing stunning images of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque but very few would know that it is a cultural destination, honors the Emirati martyrs who have sacrificed their lives in service of their country and is intended to represent the dignity and pride of the UAE and its people.
The memorial includes various features, such as the Martyrs' Memorial Wall, which displays the names of the fallen soldiers, a central plaza, and a pavilion with exhibitions showcasing the values of the UAE. Visitors can also view a permanent art installation called "The Pavilion of Honor," which consists of 31 aluminum-clad tablets that represent the UAE's founding fathers and its seven emirates.
Must visit before or after visiting Grand Mosque.

Went there on Sunday (Jul'23) for an evening outing. It's a beautifully maintained war memorial just opposite to Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
Its a place tributed to the soldiers who sacrificed their life for the nation.
-No entry fee
- spacious parking lot
- Timing appx 9am to 10:30pm
- Average time spent appx 45 mins including clicking pictures
- you can two different views of grand Mosque :one from the top front view and second would be down stairs with water reflection view.
-Best time to visit during sunset

Very well organised place and perfect plan. A token of respect to Martyrs, built up in a huge space with a huge heart.
Best place to park your car during busy days to reach Grand Mosque, Exhibitions and other events in Abu Dhabi Island.

Beautiful place. Lots of security. You are allowed to take photos but not videos. Great view of the mosque. Easy parking available. Impossible to get out of parking since it has no signs for exit.
