Very deceptive exterior, this popular pub has a welcoming and warm atmosphere inside. Good selection of beers, friendly staff and plenty of seating. Picturesque setting in a quiet street.

Excellent. Loved the pub, the food, the staff, and the atmosphere.

The pub is in a lovely location near to a nice walk along the river. The food was excellent. It is a little pricey but the quality makes it worth the extra few £ that you'd normally pay. Staff are friendly and attentive. Nice country style vibe in the pub. Highly recommend the roast dinners!

What an amazing pub, great food and attentive staff. Chef wasn’t very forthcoming with where he sources his olives, but good things are best kept secret! Definitely a must visit.

Lovely little traditional pub in Romsey. Warm welcome from the friendly staff. We sat in the garden which was really pretty. Both ordered fish and chips, which came with pea puree and homemade tartar sauce. Fish was super fresh and chips crispy. At around a reasonable £15 per head, we will definitely be back!

I've been going here for years but it's really hard not to notice the drop in standards. The people behind the bar are really young, whilst a mix is good this is almost 100%. It's a great building with friendly locals but the ownership seem to be distracted.

What beautiful and quaint little pub. I loved it!
The staff are very friendly, the service is great and the atmosphere is perfect for catch up.
The carpark is a tad short of spaces; however, there is plenty of street parking along the roadside.
I'd definitely recommend popping in for a pint.

Family meal last night, great food and service, menu had plenty to offer and also children’s food was well catered for. Glad to have a great pub on our doorstep.

Friendly pub with excellent food and choice of at least four cask ales. Car park off Romsey bypass. Spaces for around twelve cars.
