Only 2 out of 6 of us went in because of the price, had it been £5 we would have all gone in and more money would have gone through the till. The current admission is far too high for a couple of rooms worth of exhibits.
There seems to be a syndicate of smaller museums in Dorchester clinging to some ridiculous gold ticket scheme. It's a shame as none of them are good value on their own, and the museums are so different you are unlikely to find that they all interest you.
I honestly think all would get a lot more footfall if the price reflected the quality and extent of the exhibits.
