The worst experience you could imagine from a government organisation. Amateurs at best wasting public taxes insulting lack of humility and intelligence, don't bother expecting any help from this bunch of clowns because you won't get it. Clearly couldn't care about issue's regarding bad policing so why do they exist? Contact your MSP and insist this pointless and utterly useless organisation is disbanded.

A shameful office, lacking both honesty and integrity. Their role is strangled by Scottish Government legislation, making the service to the public futile. The remit is to look into police complaint handling and not police investigations. It is the failed and unsafe police investigations that turn peoples lives upside down. PIRC, will not look at that. They act as loss adjustors, ticking boxes looking for any reason, however small, not to uphold a complaint. The service is not fit for purpose. I have experienced nothing but dishonesty and even threats. The PIRC are worse than having no authority at all. I am sure there is a general perception that they hold police scotland to account, that most certainly is not the case. A body funded by the Scottish Government to protect the Scottish Government for their failure to provide a safe and efficient police force. Lock the doors and throw away the keys to this deceitful office.

I followed the procedure for complaints and senior officers covered up a police officers unlawful entry to my property the first senior officer justified the entry and made up information in his reply To me and didn't aknowlege the home office code of entering a property. To my total dismay the P.I.R.C. investigation then justified it saying the police officer used common law powere of entry.
Obviously they don't know the law they are tying to use. It would seem that they are a law unto themselves and not answerable to anyone.
So the P.I.R.C. are not fit for purpose.

Was shocked today, was pulled over after parking my car, it seems the police thought i was using my mobile phone,which was not the case,fair enough .. Was asked and questioned in full view of other people lead to the police car in question by a very young officer, fair enough, and then what? the most ignorent police officer ever,could not even be bothered to get out his car but was happy to ask time after time if i was telling the truth. having asked why he thought i was using a mobile it seems he saw me touching my left ear,the moral is girls make sure your earings do not hurt,.As for the police sorry state of affairs,train your officers to have manners.

Pirc is a useless useless useless quango from hell, run by x coppers and a x fiscal Former police officers dominate at new police watchdog google this from herald newspaper , i complained about a corrupt police officer from east kilbride regarding his disgusting vile behaviour pirc looked into it and said it was negligence of duty and to speak to me and ask me more questions there was also a learning point LOL, learn to do your job Fn right there is a good learning point, , anyway i waited and waited for the police to contact me but nothing, i phoned them and they took another statement but with little interest they were just going through the motions like going for a p ?? or s ??@ then i got another letter saying how they had done a great jobbie sorry job ! again i went to pirc who said i would have to put in a further complaint which could take 6months so i put in same complaint in as before sweet he haw had changed from pircs previous statement , i was like what will happen now, i was shocked to see that pirc now said the police had done a great job i nearly fell of my chair NOTHING i repeat NOTHING had changed, i contacted the officer from pirc by phone email and was told to piss off in no uncertain terms, the investigation was over , i can only say to anyone this is nothing but a totaly useless quango and don't waste your time they are as usefull as a ashtray on a motorbike and that is putting it politely.

i phoned hamiltom police staion regarding my partner and got a very disconcerned reception off the person that answered the phone, i have never had any contact with the police out my 38 years of working and feel very disapointed in the response from the officer that i spoke to at 02.30am @ hamilton police station
