This museum reflects tradition and culture of Abu Dhabi. highlights are Old Military Vehicles, Oil project pictures gallery, Father of the nation favorite perfumes, his vehicles, gift collections, informative video about primary stages of Abu Dhabi, Police and military uniform stages from beginning to current time.mini movie hall.
informative books available and traditional Arabian Coffee (Qahwa) served all visitors.
friendly staff welcome visitors, guides explains about complete exhibited materials.
Emirates Postal Department Designed A Portrait Of Late Sheikh Zayed with UAE postal stamps. it is amazing art !.a small clip has posted in the videos.

Great place to soak in some of the history of the UAE and its founder. Smaller than expected, they managed to pack a lot into the space and the layout makes it easy to navigate. They also play a nice film about the founding of the country with a lot of cool artifacts on display.

Nice place.. But not too many things to see. I liked the section where you can see all the old cars of Sheikh Zayed and gifts that he received

The Museum Sheikh Zayed Heritage Center in Al Bateen, by car only 10 minutes far away from the Corniche of Abu Dhabi, is not only interesting, but also an oasis of tranquility with its beautiful site, traditional buildings and small shore line. And it is a refuge for several wonderful bird species. Hopefully this area will be preserved for many years to come.

In my opinion a very underrated museum. All the staff is friendly and helpful. It is a tidy and impressive exhibition, with video material, pictures and exhibits. The place is a bit remote, but its definitely worth the way, especially because it is for free and there aren't many visitors. Please come by and have a look, you won't be disappointed!

For a fascinating look into the life of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the UAE affectionately known as the Father of the Nation, visit the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Centre in Abu Dhabi's Al Bateen district.

This museum, housed in an Emirati heritage-style village replete with camels, is an incredible homage to the man who shaped the nation. A photo gallery of Sheikh Zayed and many visiting regional and international royalty and dignitaries lines the walls of the museum, which is also full of personal memorabilia such as his favourite hunting rifles.

Taking centre stage are the late President's cherished vehicles - which he often drove through the city without a bodyguard - and gifts he received from all over the world, including taxidermied lions and cheetahs.
