Stayed one night on a business trip. The room was roughly £140 for the night and didn't include breakfast????
The room was nicely decorated and clean. Although there are some dodgy stains on the carpet and the window had a venetian blind not curtains. The shower was good, although the extractor fan wasn't working.

Scored low on location as well because you could tell that South St was a fairly rough area. The smell of Cannabis as I walked to Tesco was very strong. There is no dedicated parking, so I parked on the street. Thankfully, all my wheels, windows, and paintwork were untouched.
I would definitely not stay here again.

Very comfortable room with a smidgen of a sea view. Excellent breakfast and staff very friendly and helpful.

My partner and I really loved it here . A genuinely lovely place to stay. The barman who greeted us couldn't have been more welcoming. The rooms were extremely comfortable. Definitely recommend ????

We received a warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel and the room on first impressions looked really nice. Parking was a bit of a nightmare and we spent roughly 45 mins trying to find a parking space. We stayed for two nights in a twin room with sea view and we did have a couple of issues - the lights appeared to have a loose wire or something was wrong as they kept going on and off and flickering. We did mention this but there wasn't really any attempt to find what the problem was. The bathroom did not have any windows and to be plunged into darkness while in the shower or toilet is a bit disconcerting!! The shower was good but the temperature dial wasnt working so we couldn't regulate the heat and was rather hot. Pillows were wafer thin I had to fold both of mine in half! I would stay at the hotel again but not at a cost of £175 a night. I would have expected a better quality for that amount of money and a breakfast included. The breakfast option was a continental breakfast served in your room for an additional £7.50 and I think this should be included in the price. Overall enjoyed the stay just didn't feel was value for money

Didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms, absolutely lovely bit of architecture in Aberystwyth, lovely atmosphere, location and service

Not good price for money. Was a last minute booking as travelling up to Snowdon, wish we had done some research first. I'm unsure how this can be considered a hotel when it doesn't provide food facilities. Breakfast is cold breakfast only for £7.50 per person. I would consider this to be an Inn (pub with room facilities). The shower was luke warm and wouldn't get hot, the vent in the bathroom didn't work, no air con so only breeze is via the window which when open in the evening you hear the pub noise below, had some guys shouting at eachother around 11.30-midnight. it's close to the beach and the castle but £120 for room only is excessive when you can book a guest house including breakfast a stones throw away.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, neat bar with a pleasant atmosphere. A short walk to the beach.The room was very clean and modern with a lovely view of the sea. Enjoyed my stay would recommend it to family and friends.
