My partner called and we got in at 14.30 for Sunday lunch, when we got there the bar area had a few people in. The open fire was going and it was very pleasant. Greeted by the staff that knew my partner and we were quickly shown to our table. We waited a good few minutes for someone to take our order. But when the food arrived it was amazing. Good service great food.

The pub was very quaint with what looks to be a very ancient well, now glassed off. The pub is in 2 half's, the old part with the bar and some seating and the restaurant side in an extension. Service was excellent, I had the steak and my wife had the veg hunters burger with hallomi on top. Both meals were very good and finished off with sundae. A few more vegetarian options would be welcome, but will definitely eat here again.

Service great always welcoming, great food , Lexi was good very professional nothing was to much trouble even when asked to change a few things on the dish that I didn't like but that was my personal preference they was still happy to customise to my liking

Very nice meal and Gluten free properly understood. Nice staff, good to go to a real pub.

Fantastic pub with brilliant menu. Went three times and all food excellent. Bartender very friendly and made us feel welcome. Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic place to eat and drink. Surprisingly big once you get inside but the old bar and fireplace make it feel like a fantastic traditional countryside pub. Food was excellent and the potion sizes are massive! Everything was faultless

Food great though took over an hour from ordering to be served. However the excellently kept beer meant that we were chatting so it wasn't really a problem. ????
