My daughter and myself spent last week at Skipsea Sands, booked a taxi from this company after we had got some shopping for the week. Had a fabulous driver that loaded all the shopping, large suitcase, couple of other bags and a folding Mobility scooter, actually took us right to the caravan door, so booked them for our return journey to the station, again a driver came and loaded everything, couldn't fault them in any way. Definitely will use them again

Booked a taxi for 10:50pm, waited outside location for about half an hour. Taxi did not turn up, when I called up to ask where it was they proceeded to shout at me saying it was my responsibility to look for the taxi of which I did. As a 17 year old girl, to be left with no way home it is disgusting and will absolutely not be booking wit these again.

I booked a taxi 14 hours in advance Jimto pick my vulnerable daughter up after a concert at midnight and take her to a hotel in Filey so that she was safe and out of the cold. They didn't pick her up until 12.50 despite telling me on several occasions that they had or were almost there. When on one call I expressed my frustration and concern that I had tried to avoid worry by booking it so far in advance and I said that I was not happy as something bad could happen the guy on the phone just hung up the phone which shows me that he didn't care about the welfare of my child or the integrity of the service that the firm he represents provide. I am absolutely disgustwith the dishonesty, attitude and general contempt shown to a worried father and the safety of his child. There was zero customer service skills, complete detachment from the responsibility to honour the contract and no sense of concern or urgency to ensure that the matter was resolved in a sensitive and speedy manner. On top of that they chose to be dishonest and avoid taking ownership of the fact that they had not been able to manage to provide a car at a pre-booked time and place even with over 14 hours to plan, prepare and position a car to pick up an autistic young vulnerable person as they had been entrusted to do by the father who had made it clear how important it was to be there at the time requested and take the child to the safety of the accommodation to avoid unnecessary stress and anxiety for an already vulnerable individual.

I am absolutely overwhelmed with anger and frustration at the appalling level of service and will not be using this firm in the future.

DO NOT USE! We booked a taxi to pick us up from a wedding reception at the golf course in Bridlington. 5 minutes before we were due to be picked up, a guy from this company rang to say they couldn’t collect us and there’s nothing they could do about it. We rang every other taxi company in Bridlington and no one else could take us home at such short notice. We even rang taxis from the town we are from to say if they could collect us and they couldn’t. You left and 18 year old girl stranded in a town they don’t know at midnight! We had to sleep in our cars. Scary to think what could have happened thanks to you! If you could have told us earlier that you couldn’t take us home, we wouldn’t have had a drink, but 5 mins before we were due to be picked up is disgusting!

Rang up for a taxi at 10am and asked for a taxi to collect me from South Shore Holiday Park whenever possible, Operator said no problem will be there at 10.30am. Taxi arrived bang on time and when he asked where I was going I told him Reighton Sands. He said oh no I cant take you there as I cant leave town, you'll have to wait for someone else to come pick you up and he asked why i didn't tell him where I was going in the first place (I thought its the operators job to ask where I'm going at the first point of contact) The driver said wait 7 or 8 mins for another taxi. Ended up waiting about 25 mins and a pleasant lady picked us up. Good service in the end but disappointed that it was made out to be my fault that I didn't say where i was going when I didn't really think it would be a problem

Booked a taxi Saturday lunchtime to pick us up early evening. After waiting past the booking time we rang and were told that the booking hadn't been passed on. This is obviously because they didn't want to come out of Bridlington to pick us up. I have always used 1st Line in the past, and recommended them to friends and guests, but NEVER again.

Rude and unhelpful on the phone and shouted at me when I asked what time to expect them and she said she couldn't guarantee one would even come! It was for a last minute appointment at the hospital due to my husbands heart! She shouted at me "well you've only given us 45 minutes". Didn't book.
