Spent three days at Tarka pottery with my grown up children. We had a great time learning to throw, trim and glaze a range of earthenware pots, cups, bowls, even bottles on the last day. It was relaxed, supportive, informative, fun and an all round thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Attended Tarka Pottery with Life After Stroke group ( group of 10)
for a 2hr session. Had an amazing time. Each of us made a pot on the wheel and then decorated the inside/ outside. Each one was very different and very special. Can't wait to see all the various pots once they've been fired.
Would highly recommend ????

Had a wonderful couple of hours at this place, opted for a Potters Wheel Experience whilst on holiday in Devon. Got to make our own pots, decorate and paint them then once they were fired in the kiln they were posted out to us. The ladies are very creative and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Many thanks Lyn and Becky for a great morning! :)

I went for a double date here to paint some pottery and we had the best afternoon! It’s a perfect activity for a rainy day, with the studio being in the Devon countryside and having a relaxing vibe to it! The owner and one of the staff members working yesterday were so helpful! Definitely request a colour palette to see what the colours look like after going in the kiln, and a pencil to draw your design! We can’t wait to collect our finished pieces in 4 weeks time!

Had an absolute blast. Never done this before and enjoyed every second. Teachers were fantastic. Definitely a must for your bucket list. Will definitely be returning A*plus

A great experience. So friendly and the warm atmosphere meant you quickly relaxed and settled in. The initial teaching was very informative and we were soon using the pottery wheel. Oh what fun! Throughout the session we were gently guided and encouraged. It was astonishing how quickly the two and a half hours passed.
This simple wooden building belies the treasure trove of talented, friendly people so willing to pass on their skills. A great place to visit. Thank you to you all.

Great experience. They love what they do and make it all about your own personal artistic choice. Lots of fun. Bring your own food and drinks!
