My wife and I popped in for lunch recently on the strength of the good reviews here.

Our lunch was super yummy; the fish and chips were excellent and the burger particularly tasty. The side order of onion rings were spot on – super crunchy with a light batter and piping hot.

And they serve Timothy Taylor Landlord bitter – so all is well with the world.

Recommended.

The food here was excellent. I really wanted the pie but was told it would take 45 minutes so went for fish & chips which were great. Excellent chunky chips. Crispy on the outside & fluffy in the middle. The fish pie was awesome X

Came for a Sumday lunch and... IT WAS AMAZING! Had a shared starter of homemade nachos and liver patte, was delicious! I then had a main of a lamb roast and was massive for its price! Delicious and contained everything you could imagine in a roast. Great staff and if you want food in Tewkesbury go now, right now!

Not been here for a few years and have to ask myself why? Brilliant pub with incredibly friendly staff, the Real Ale was kept really well and was a pleasure to drink.

The local customers were welcoming and made my visit that more special and if it wasn't for the fact its not very close to where I live I'd have it as my local pub.

I've not tried the food, but many said how good it was and everything is home cooked. When I get the opportunity I will return for a meal.
