Real lovely place to stay. Room are clean and of a very high standard. Most staff were cheerful and all were helpful. Meal was nothing special and as I was mentioned to us on a number of occasions they where having trouble accommodating a large party for food, so service was slow.
All in all recommended place to stay.

What an amazing hotel. We booked a lager room through booking as there was a special offer. So glad we did. Large spacious room with a huge comfy bed. Fridge, tea and coffee with biscuits. Luxurious bathroom. All very clean.
Staff were friendly and helpful and for our wedding anniversary, they left a card and chocolates! A lovely touch.
The hotel looked clean and tidy. Nice little rooms next to the bar to sit and relax.

We have stayed in places recently where they have not cleaned the rooms unless requested, no buscuits in the room etc but The Feathers was just like old times. It was a great stay in the centre of Ludlow and they even gave us a tour of the old rooms as we are interested in ghosts. It was warm when we stayed there and the bedroom window could not be opened far to allow air in. The only real negative was having to pay for parking in their own car park. I don't understand how hotels can charge for this. Otherwise, it was great stay - would recommend!

Positive: Character of the building is outstanding, the staff were attentive, polite, cheerful. The beds were amazingly comfortable!! Although the floors in the room were uneven, it added to the experience, because of the age of the building. Negative: The food was ok, but was a let-down to the overall wonderful hotel. There was a bit of an intermittent Â¿drainÂ¿ smell in our room from outside. The mini-bar in the room wasnÂ¿t replenished on day 2.

Great lunch today. Service was kind, caring and very focused on us having a good time.
Table in the window so we spent a great afternoon people watching.
Amazing lunch menu ... compliments to the chef. I had a very 70s theme of prawn cocktail and steak. My wife had a much more modern option. Both were fantastic, both well served and very fresh ingredients.
Going back soon.

Helpful staff Ludlow beers (brewery is at the bottom of the hill nr. Station) food excellent especially breakfast with good service. Room 145 amazing (it is featured on the hotel's picture site) Really comfy large bed. My son now is booking. Handy for centre with some excellent pubs and eateries

Visited this amazing hotel for afternoon tea during February half term. What an amazing place this is. The building was constructed in the 17th Century and the facade is original Tudor. The interior is tastefully decorated but the age of the building is obvious.
The service was very good and the staff were extremely polite and very helpful.
The food for the afternoon tea was delightful, a selection of sandwiches, quiche, scones with jam and cream and a selection of small cakes with fresh strawberries and raspberries. They also offer unlimited tea and coffee.
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. and would definitely recommend it.
Furthermore, If you’ve never visited Ludlow then I suggest you do, it’s a stunning Shropshire town that is steeped in history and atmosphere.

Beautiful and ancient, the Feathers retains a lot of it’s bygone splendour. The staff are absolutely wonderful especially the ever helpful Edward and the queen of the overnight crew, Sarah. Everybody is courteous and efficient which also goes double for the room & maid service. The food is above average and served with care. The Feathers lives up to its reputation on all fronts. I’ve stayed here twice now and will be back next year.
