Absolutely brilliant your and Bob the tour guide along with his wingman, Prince, gave us a no-holds barred tour, looked after us and gave us a mammoth Plymouth history lesson. Worth every penny.

Drake’s Island tour was absolutely fantastic. The island warden was unbelievably knowledgable on the history and wildlife, very engaging and humorous also. The ferry over from the Barbican landing platform was a joy too. Cannot recommend this enough.

If your a lover of Plymouth history, this is a great place to visit. Interesting to learn about the myths and rumours to see if they are true. The Guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. Views of Plymouth and Cornwall are amazing from the island. Nice little boat trip over and back. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Really fantastic trip, Bob the warden who takes you round the island was a wealth of knowledge who seemed to know everything along with a few funny stories. The 2 hours flew by and you leave certainly more informed than you arrive. Lots of places to take photos and ask as many questions as you like and Bob has the answer. This is one trip you must have. Recommend for all ages.

If you have the slightest interest in history then this is a must do visit, well worth the small charge. We visited on 28th July 2022, a lovely sunny day which made it all the more enjoyable. Our guide was absolutely brilliant , imparting great knowledge and humour. If you get the opportunity please visit Drakes Island, you won't regret it!!
