Stayed at the campsite and walked there in a couple of minutes. Broad menu with everything you would expect and then lovely specials as well. Very generous portions, excellent quality and very reasonably priced. Had the lamb shank and cod - both beautiful! Would definitely go back!

Visited the campsite behind the pub and thought after the drive and setting up we’d go for a spot of lunch. We were warmly welcomed quickly served drinks and we found a table outside under shelter witch was nice for us and the kids as it was a hot day.
Food was ordered and served in good time no one was disappointed good wholesome
Food at VERY reasonable prices. Please keep up the good work we will be popping in again next time where on-site.

Rated the rooms 1 star as I did not stay but I am sure they are great ????. The food was excellent and reasonable price! Service is great and staff were incredibly nice! Thank you ????

Absolutely amazing food I had the boneless lamb chops with minted gravy and my partner had the slow cooked beef steak and both meals were incredible, lovely staff and great service 10/10 would recommend

I haven't stayed here but the pub , the food , the staff , the drinks , the location and everything else is absolutely brilliant ????. Well worth a visit , if you want a Sunday lunch , make sure you book well in advance as its that good , popular and in demand.

What a gem, superb location, the staff absolutely spot on, food, very enjoyable.
A well rounded location that suits all, locals, very polite, families from the caravan park behind, also polite, a bit of Britain that is still GREAT.
The owners made us very, very welcome indeed.

I mislaid my wife during a walk and decided to wait here in case she turned up. The staff were sympathetic and helpful. I enjoyed a couple of Butty Bach brews although the meals we chose (when my wife finally showed) reflected the fact that the kitchen was trying to close. Its business seems to come from the nearby caravan park so its public bar is enormous!
