Took the family to the pumpkin patch was a great morning out very fun dor thhe kids with animals and tractor rides and a hay bale play area. Had some amazing wood fired pizza and coffee excellent on a cold morning. All was very cheap would highly recommend

Stayed here for two, one night stays recently whilst in the area for work. The host Elizabeth is very friendly and welcoming, serving a lovely tea/coffee and cake on arrival. As it was the middle of lambing, it was great to wander around the farm yard. The building is old and certainly interesting, in a quiet rural spot. The room itself is clean and comfortable. My only negative is that with an old building comes creaky floorboards and some thin walls, so guests in others rooms could be heard! (especially loud TVs!).

Fab couple of hours pumpkin picking with family and friends.

Free play areas for children.
Tractor rides £1 raising money for charity for children.

Hot drinks £2.50

Wide range of pizzas not sure on price as we took our own picnic.

I made a reservation at Moor Court Farm in March 2022, for a stay in July 2022. The location was important to me as I was travelling for a large and much-delated family gathering in the local area.

So far so good.

About a month later, in April 2022, I was telephoned by the owner, who very cheerfully informed me that there had been an issue with their booking system, that the room was double-booked, and as a consequence they were going to cancel my booking.

No attempt was made to provide an alternative, no offer of assistance in finding an alternative was made, and there was no offer of compensation such as for example vouchers, a reduced price stay at a different date, or similar. My query about alternatives or if there was anything they could do was met simply with 'it's cancelled, nothing we can do'.

This has left me scambling to find an alternative in the local area, for the right dates. Something that I thought was sorted, is now not.

The place itself may be wonderful, but I'll not now have the chance to find out.

The customer service, however, leave A LOT to be desired.

Really enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful place and a lovely host. Breakfast was great, the homemade Apple juice was wonderful and setting the lambs frolicking around was great.

The only real downside for us was the lack of sound insulation. We had a busy Scotsman staying at the same time as us who was constantly on the phone, his voice traveled around the whole house which was rather annoying when you've gone for a quiet weekend away.

Other than that I highly recommend it

Stayed for one night with a experience voucher.Freezing cold , no heating on. No hot water had to boil kettle to have a shave.We found out from another couple that the boiler had broken. Nothing about it mentioned to us by the owner. Breakfast not impressive really. When we left the owner charged us £14 each for the breakfast . Most expensive breakfast ever. Pity the elderly couple who were staying there for another 2 nights in the freezer.Think we were had ,never again.

Five star service, Elizabeth was super friendly, helpful and considerate. Tea and a delicious fruit biscuit served on arrival, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was very tasty.

The setting was beautiful and peaceful and the building is full of character and quirky charm.

There are a few small negatives to be aware of, but these are a product of the age of the building and we didn't find it detracted from our stay; there is next to no sound proofing between rooms so we could hear our neighbours snore, a pair of ear plugs however solved this issue. Aside from that the water pressure in the shower was weak, but to be expected in an old building, this simply meant I took more time to rinse the shampoo out my hair, but again this is not a major problem if you're not in any rush.

All in all we had a lovely stay and felt very much welcomed and comfortable, we would be happy to return again

Lovely stay here, nice rooms, and a great breakfast. Only downside was a noisy american neighbour in the adjacent room. But can't hold that against the owners ofcourse
