Difficult roads to encounter to get to this place but well worth it. Great food, lovely staff. Will be back.

Absolutely fabulous charming characterful pub and such a lovely welcoming young couple who own and run it - delicious tasty food! Home cooked specials for vegetarians! Perfectly cooked steaks! And last night a big group of us went and had their Xmas menu … the huge piece of salmon was absolutely amazing and my nut roast was delicious! Brilliant pub ????

The Bottle and Glass in the pretty village of Picklescott close to Dorrington Shropshire is as a English pub should be very cosy.
Book a evening meal looking forward to it as you do as a treat. Ordered sea bass and chicken tikka and as a treat ordered a French wine around £24.00 .
Well the meals arrived firstly the sea bass was served with vegetables which should of been served with a roast dinner ie whole carrots cabbage green beans potatoes with skins on and with two sad looking fillets of fish stuck together. As the plate of food looked the only thing missing was the gravy.
Tikka was better but not perfect as chicken not seasoned.
As for the wine the only way to describe this is if any body has bought wine from the bottom shelf of a supermarket you will No what I mean,needless to say the wine went back. Very disappointing experience. Regards Chris H.

Such a wonderful country pub nestled on the Long Mynd! Open fire, great food, great beer and the stream running close by tops it off! 100% recommend!

The food was very good but for some odd reason the owners don't come to the table to ask if you would like more drinks so they expect diners to go to the bar during their meal

The Bottle and Glass was only a 15 minute walk from Betchcott, so walkable there and back.
Went for lunch. The hosts were lovely and attentive and the food was very tasty and well balanced.
Rounded off with a well served and conditioned glass of Pale Ale.
My idea of a holiday.

Fantastic pub. We received such a friendly and warm welcome when we arrived tired, late, and weary after a long walk. The food was excellent and staff all friendly and helpful. Many thanks

An excellent small country pub in the tiny village of Picklescott amongst outstanding countryside. Good food which you can enjoy outside in decent weather or inside in the homely and characterful bar. Very friendly and helpful service.
