Very disappointing, visited on a Saturday afternoon to find all the ales were unavailable by pump or bottle, only John Smith's. Guinness was available and well kept, but then I ordered a medium sirloin which came out rare and couldn't eat it. The staff are the saving grace, friendly and efficient.

Lovely place unfortunately we didn't get chance to stay for food but looked amazing.verry clean and spacious. My daughter loved the play area aswell. I will be returning

Very much a family pub which is fantastic if you have young children. Not a place to visit at the weekend if you just want a quiet meal though. Having said that, I was aware of this when I booked so I knew what to expect. Food was amazing, delivered very quickly by lovely cheerful staff, and was really hot.
Only lost a star because I think it would benefit from an 'only adults' area. Lovely, lovely pub though.

Ordered steak we couldn't eat, took it home for the dog.
Waited 30 mins for our desert.
Toilets disgusting, dread to think what the kitchen's were like if they can't keep the toilets clean.
Waiting staff were lovely.

Food was horrible, not cooked properly. Waited nearly 2 hours for food, horrible.

Not been for ages, but told they had a good light bite menu - and they did!
The lower price "puddings" for smaller eaters were a bonus. Prompt service, good food and a nice Fort (outside) for the kids - great! We'll be back!

What a fantastic place very clean. The food was amazing lovely outside eating and drinking garden. They have got a little wooden play area for the kids. Staff was very friendly. Will be going back again. They have got a sticky toffee pudding what's has got no milk and no egg In so great if you have allergies to milk or egg

Grew up coming to this place, always been my favourite. Wanted to bring my partner for years now and as we are now passing our driving tests and gaining our freedom… this is the first place i bought him (we are 40min drive away). He loved it just as much as I do.

Great food, lovely staff and beautiful scenery. Couldn’t ask for more
