It's definitely a great day out for the whole family. There is a great play park with lots to play on. The manor house is stunning and you can visit inside. There is plenty of field space for you to have a picnic on, and there is a very nice little cafe off to the side in the courtyard. The woods are great for walking as well.

Nice place to visit with kids, the house is free to walk around which is always good and was very interesting, loads of parking spaces and only costs around 3 pounds for free hours parking which isn't bad. At the bottom of the house There is a nice long lake that you can walk around which is really nice. The kids love seeing all the fish in there. Plenty of room all around the house to have a picnic and also a nice coffee place Definitely ago again but I would avoid the ice cream van. He charges extortionate routes. 40p for sprinkles says it all.

Very nice park. Well worth a visit. Excellent food in cafe. Very interesting museum in the main house which is surrounded by beautiful parkland. There's even a micro brewery!

Fairly large house/museum. Free to visit in extensive grounds. Plenty to see.

We went for a family day out - 9 children, 11 adults and 1 dog. We set up a picnic spot on top of the hill. We had a fantastic day despite a couple of rain showers. The kids loved running/ rolling/ walking down the hill to the lake. The adults running after them. We didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked but we will definitely be returning for an adults only bimble round the gardens and lake. With a stop by in the tea room for some well earned cake. Only cost was parking which wasn't too expensive at £6:20 for the day. The house was open and it has some very interesting pieces to look at. Overall from us a 10/10.

Yet another really interesting place to visit. Absolutely brilliant value, very reasonably priced car park .... motorhome friendly. 3 hrs was £2.60 - bargain. There is an overflow carpark which they probably should have opened as we had to go round twice to find a spot. The house/museum is really interesting. We loved the little videos running all the black & white footage of Doncaster and surrounding areas. I recall being at the Blue Peter train rally - getting all 3s autographs! Mark you, we could also recall some of the kitchen utensils and toys in the museum !! There's a cafe, outdoor coffee hut, brewery and toilets. Then the park and children's play area. The guides in the house couldn't be more friendly or helpful. What a find !!!

We stopped here for a bite to eat and a cuppa definitely worth it. Just make sure your here early! Coffee and pizza House are great and last viewing of the house is 3,30pm. The grounds are amazing specially on a sunny day. They have a big playground for kids, picnic area's all round, toilets. To park your car it is a pay and display ????????
