My daughter played for the first girls team for Areley kings. Previously trained with the boys team until a girls team was formed. She loved it. Then I was assaulted by another parent whilst leaving a match. It didn’t take place at the Areley kings ground but it did take place in front of other parents from the team and all whilst wearing hoodies and kits representing the team. The manager at the time reported the incident to the welfare officer. Its been 5 months since the assault. Nothing was done about the parent who assaulted me from nowhere., whilst also hitting my 9year old daughter in the process. Therefore my children were to scared to go back to football, and i had to remove my daughter from the team where she had made many friends. The parent who assaulted me has since been charged with assault by beating and awaiting a plea hearing. And still nothing has been done. My partner had a phonecall today to say no further action is going to be taking place. There is no safeguarding procedures in place at this club. And if the is they are very poor. Im not the only one that has had nothing come of an incident at this club. I will be taking this further. Along with others. Absolutely discusting. The welfare officer was always to busy to speak. And would grunt and moan when we rang her to discuss the matter further. Shameful

Great set up and facilities for youth football teams, new AstroTurf training area is as good as any leisure centre
