Visited the cinema last night for the first time with my husband and daughter to watch the John Wick Film, as far as cinema itself, spot on, clean, audio amazing, spacious, no faults with the cinema itself at all. Staff was the thing that let it down and in turn ruined out night as a family and made me miss a good 1/4 of the film. When we arrived we queued for hot dogs, when we got to the till the lady on said they had all gone, she got the manager and he said he would happily put some more on, but would need to come back in 15 mins, we all went and got our seats, filmed started and I came out to get the hotdogs, the same lady said they was still cooking to come back in a further 15 mins which took it too 8.30, I came back out at 8.30, to a massive queue, the same lady looked at me and said I would need to queue but not to worry our hot dogs were out the back, i queued for 12 minutes when I got to the front the same lady looked right at me and said “oh sorry there all sold”, I thought she was having a joke with me as had wasted already 40 minutes of the film, she had clearly lied when she said they were out the back, I found the manager and he too was annoyed as she had said to put them aside , I can’t fault the manager as he put some more on and even fetched them to our seats when was ready, but the fact the lady was clearly having one big joke at our expense ruined the night she spent more time chatting and flirting with 2 guys in front, then dealing with the situation at hand, just asked me to return to my seat, like I said the cinema itself is brilliant but the staff defiantly need a refresher course especially in customer service skills.
Then after the film we attempted to talk to a member of staff about what had happened he started to listen then mid conversation just literally walked off, gobsmacked wasn’t the word, I couldn’t even write this if I tried ????????
