Loved the boat trip across the Bay in glorious sunshine on a bank holiday weekend. Direct to the city centre up the River Taff. Good value for the experience and journey.

The partner and I boards the Aqua Bus on Thursday, 29/6/2023.

The price is £7 per adult which in my honest opinion is slightly expensive.

The boat tour guide does not talk throughout the guide. Very disappointed. We were expecting much better.

The only positives are the swans and the wetherspoons on the pier.

There is not much to see apart from trees and apartment blocks.

The Aquabus is a handy tour/water bus service across the Cardiff barrage. The Aquabus goes at selected times across to Penarth Marina. It's fairly reasonable priced. You can buy tickets at booth in Cardiff Bay or in the boat from Penarth.

Such a lovely experience. Staff was friendly, ride was smooth. I would definitely recommend it.

Great alternative to the taxi but be sure to get there on time as there are only so many seats
