Potters Bar Garage is my 'go to' for looking after my elderly car with care and professionalism. Robert is excellent at diagnosing engine and mechanical problems, and getting them sorted. Quality of work is great. An example of Roberts quality is when I rushed in today with a problem with the bonnet.. assessed and sorted out in a trice, with a smile.

I have been taking my cars to potters bar garage for more than 15 years
Not once have i had to question their good service.
Rob the owner goes out of his way to give you an honest quote followed by a professional service and he remembers clients as if they are family.
Which other garage does that.
He is a font of knowledge and reassuring.
Long may he service his customers

Once again fantastic service from Potters Bar Garage and Rob - he and the team always go out of the way to help, knowledge and customer service are excellent. He made time to come and look at my car when we couldn’t get it’s started and due to his knowledge solved the problem very quickly - a huge thank you.

By far the worst garage I have ever experienced. I compared prices with two other garages and one laughed, and in his words, “you’re being extorted”. They charged £52 to clean my seatbelt. They also charged to park my car on the road when they did not have parking in their garage (which they did not make me aware of at the time)

I work in the city and I live outside of London and I can genuinely say, in all of my life experience, dealing with clients, locally and central. I have never experienced a service like this.

Couldn’t recommend potters bar garage more. I went here after my car failed its MOT and the garage it was done at couldn’t fix it. I needed some urgent repairs as I desperately needed my car. They were able to fit me in and fix it in less that 24 hours. Really friendly and approachable, will be returning here for regular MOTs and servicing.

Minor issue with gas recirculation leading to a big problem of engine power loss was spotted instantly after three (!!!) BMW service centres failed to find the problem and each charging me for running the diagnostics. Luckily a friend recommended Potters Bar Garage and I never looked back. Exceptional body work and regular servicing go without mentioning. It is a matter of total trust within 15 years now. I only wish there were more places like this, so highly professional and always reliable. A huge THANK YOU

After reading the reviews I would never use this garage, the owner is clearly very rude! Just look at his responses to the bad reviews! You only get bad reviews if you have done something wrong! Maybe he should up to his mistakes instead of being rude to unfortunate customers who have had to foot the cost of his errors!
