Has improved so much since being taken over. Staff are really lovely, often work long hours to fit patients in and the wait to speak to a receptionist is 1/10 of the time it was under the previous owners. Really good surgery ????

No confidence in doctors. I have been waiting for a call from the doctors about results taken from tests a week ago, and I was promised a call 2 days ago, still received nothing after I had to call and ask if they had my results and I was turned away. When I was in the appointment, taking results, I was made to feel inferior, embarrassed and very alone. I wanted assurance and help, and I was asked to be as fast as I can because the person that processes the results was leaving soon, even though when I called I explained the issue and was booked into an appointment, so clearly there was no thought put into my needs or helping me. As an 18 year old girl, I felt alone, embarrassed and tearful. Very upset.

Staff have always been really helpful and compassionate. I've always managed to get a prompt appointment. A great little surgery that's run really well. Thank you.

Very poor, appalling time to get through on the phone- 2hours and 40 minutes of repeated dialling is my record but often takes over an hour to get through on the phone lines. Availability of appointments is atrocious . When you have an appointment, especially with the nurse it is often cancelled at the last minute; they seem to have a high level of staff sickness. Don’t get me started on their repeat prescription service, in fact it’s a lack of service takes several weeks of repeated phone calls to get done. Overall shockingly bad.Historically the practice was fantastic when it was run by Drs Porter, Healy and even further back Rolfe & McRobbie.

The Farnsfield Surgery quality of service improved enormously once the Hillview Surgery takeover happened on 5th May. Immediately, the telephone service improved and the GP callbacks took place when promised. Both my wife and I have nothing but praise for the rapid referrals that now take place.

Visiting from California. Got an upper respiratory infection on the plane. Saw a nurse after a 3 hour wait but she refused to give me the antibiotics that I knew I needed.

Went back a week later since the symptoms had only changed slightly. Nurse unavailable because she was giving flu shots this week. Doctor could not see me until 2 days later (we would have left the area by then).

So our 2 week vacation was basically been ruined. I used to tell my American friends how great the NHS is... that just changed thanks to the Farnsfield Surgery.

Stop press! Got a callback from the doctor... prescription in hand.

After 19 years our family have had no option than to leave, what was once, an excellent practice. Impossible health threatening waiting times, reception staff asking what we wanted to see the Doctor for in front of a waiting room full of people (are they medically trained?) dangerously incorrect repeat precriptions - wrong strength, 10 x the permitted quantity and 3 days waiting time over the promised date for vital medication. Apalling
