Stopped to eat a packed lunch whilst passing through. I assume that it’s predominant use is for cricket as the vast majority is laid out for that use. Behind there is a football pitch.

There is a small grass area to the other side without any seating and a small playground suitable for young children. Only one small bench to sit on in the playground, should and could be more. There are more benches that overlook the cricket pitch.

As a park it has little to offer, I would call it a recreation ground, a bit boring for dog walking or general exercise. Good for what it is but I wouldn’t make a special trip.

Good plus point was the clean public conveniences.

Fantastic place created with lots of hard work.
Good place to visit as it now incorporates our Community Orchard

Perfect to play football with children or walk the dogs on day time and run and play with them. Grass is cut, nice tidy and clean. Little childrens play are and place to play cricket. Also, lovely sitting area to rest. Not far from the forest either.

Lots of room to walk/exercise. Lots of dogs running about. Just a shame that some owners feel they can let their dogs foul and not pick it up and put it in the dog bin or take it home! Very inconsiderate.

My visit to the park was nice and u thought that it was well designed, sponsored by local businesses and organisations. I particularly like the fact that there is a sign indicating what trees have been planted and that there are herbs there as well as flowers and the orchard. I love the fact that there is a sign saying that not all disabilities are visible. I am really looking forward to seeing the orchard and garden grow and mature.

So peaceful with nice benches to sit on. It is always kept neat and clean and just all round well looked after memorial park.
