Good budget hotel with good location. We had a studio room that had a double bed, sofa and small kitchen. Room was very clean and well maintained. Service was pleasant, no issues noted. Car park only has space for around 5 cars and was full when we arrived - popped in and spoke to staff who helped move another car slightly so we could get in. If I was ever in Aberystwyth again I'd stay here no problems. Breakfast was lovley .

Booked last minute as we had no choice.
On arrival was told to park in the area as no parking. (States online and on billboards there is)
Found parking to the back of the property with enough room for 4 cars. This isn’t great!
Checked in and went to room. Was a good size room (family room) very dated decor and flooring.
Stayed the night with my two boys. Was very hot of a night time I had to turn the rads down.
Bar was very small with little choice.
Breakfast was good but little choice.
Checked out early.
I would stay here again if again it was a last resort. Can’t knock the staff as they were very friendly but very dated hotel.

Very nice room with amazing big bath. Great location close to beach and town just behind corner. Definitely come back again!

I booked a double room and on the night I arrived, they had no booking for me and then they said - how much were you quoted? I said £180 . At no point did they tell me how much the room actually was - they couldn't find me a room quick enough! I had room 20. The worse room I have ever stayed in , double bed - no , 2 single beds pushed together and they weren't the same size, so you had no choice but to lay on 1 single bed. Absolute disgrace! Old furniture!

One of the best hotel in Aberystwyth.
Nice and clean rooms. Good breakfast and very helpful staff.
I really appreciate the efforts taken by the staff to ensure pleasant stay for the customer.

Booked Apartment 1, Grosvenor House Aberystwyth (sister hotel of Four Seasons, same management) for my partner and I for Valentines day. Called early today to check everything was OK with the booking and was told it was fine and we could pick the keys up when we were ready. Made our way to Aberystwyth to check in only to be told that there was a problem with the room when we arrived and we would be offered a complimentary upgrade. We went to see the 'upgrade' that we were offered and it was nowhere near as nice as the apartment we had originally booked. The apartment had stains on the walls, broken blinds and a very poor finish in the en-suite. Regardless of the condition of the 'upgraded' room, we booked the room for a sentimental reason (first date). We went back to the hotel and spoke with the manager who couldn't seem to care less. Other than the fact that he was "losing a £40 booking fee". He refused to do any more and basically sent us on our way. I feel it is important to mention that this is the second time that this has happened with the same room. Last time we were so tired after travelling we just accepted the alternative room. DO NOT book Apartment 1, Grosvenor House unless you want to be let down. The customer service was appalling and I can safely say I will never book a room with The Four Seasons Aberystwyth or any of its sister hotels again.

Booked last minute as was seeing friends in Aber during the day and decided to stay the night. The lady at check in was rude. When I asked if we could check out after 10 she said "11 is the maximum we can do". I said "OK can we check out at 11 please" expecting her to need to make a note but instead she said "that's what I just said". In my attempt to be unpresumptuous i could have come off ignorant. You certainly did. The sour taste from check in turned bitter when we saw our tiny, tired and sweltering room. The heating was on and could not be turned off on a warm spring evening. The window also would not stay open and needed to be propped open with the generously supplied tepid water bottle on the desk. Hey ho we would only be here one night and the bed was nicely made and clean. In the light of day the cobwebs, stained ceiling and walls and grotty radiator shone brightly. I should have picked up the foreshadowing when I had to scramble behind a dusty, cobwebbed side table to plug in a lamp to one of the (seemingly purposefully hidden) plug sockets which turned out to be broken anyway.

The shower was dirty with brown film covering corners and edges. Hot water ran out halfway through and there was no Toiletries or even hand soap. Luckily we'd stayed in a cheaper (and magnitudes nicer) bed and breakfast the night before and had a small bar of our own to avoid attending reception for another mouthful.

We didn't stay for breakfast but I presume it comes with rare breed Tamworth sausage, Old Spot bacon and bottomless Dom Perignon to justify charging anything at all for this stay.

The gentleman who directed us to an overflow car park round the corner, as the 4 spaces for 30 rooms were full, was very helpful.

Horrible. Dirty. Small. Rude.

Would really recommend a stay. Staff could not do enough for us. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Do not miss the breakfast, it was lovely. Only issue was the parking, not many spaces available, but that would not put me off another stay.
