It was great it cost 18£ for 2 hot chocolates and 2 kids carvery. I would not bother getting traditional carvery as it's only an bigger plate and a bit more meat. Other then that the food was great. ????.
The atmosphere was very stuffy even though it was cold outside.
All the staff where polite and helpful, they should get an raise.

Nice place to have brunch. But carvery serving is too little we think, not enough meat for the money we spend. Friends had same opinion.

We popped in earlier today after a visit to the Tiny Town, play centre for the little ones. We didn't need to pre book, as it has good seating capacity and a large car park to accommodate groups if required. However, please check with them if you have large numbers. We were served by one of the managers Julia, sorry if I've got the wrong, but she welcomed us and showed us to our table and looked after us thoroughly. I was very impressed when she brought me extra chips because she thought I didn't get enough on my plate and she also told me that I could help myself to extra beans if needed for no extra cost. We were impressed, satisfied, and recommended De Rodes Arms Stonehouse any day.

We visit every month and have had both the carvery which is excellent with a good choice of food and size also, and meals from the menu. All food is cooked to perfection and is just lovely. I would recommend highly.

Visited during a quiet period but the carvery was still hit and fresh. Plenty of clean tables to choose from. Lady at the bar and carvery very polite and friendly. Good portions, good variety of veg and potatoes. Nice atmosphere, open fire, air con, ice cream machine, fruit machine etc. Suitable for various occasions. Suitable for famikies, has highchairs. Has outdoor seating although next to a main road so not quiet but a nice view and gated off. Reasonable prices and if you sign up on line for emails they send 50% off vouchers now and again. Spacious carpark on site with several disabled spaces too that are close to the restaurant. Good accessibility for wheelchair users aswell. Would definitely recommend visiting and we will be returning soon ????

We came a couple of weeks ago but I made a note to leave a review mainly because of the great service we received. The staff were very accommodating of my dad in his wheelchair, and made every effort to check that my daughters friend, who has a nut allergy, was fine with the food she wanted. The waitress even offered to clean my dad's own cutlery after the meal and brought them back to him.

Meat at the carvery is good, roast potatoes are good too,vegetables are okay but that is the only let down for me.
The carvers were so helpful and really tried to care for one of our parties' dietary needs. A big thank you to them.
Service was good overall.

Booked as a big party and from the get go the ladies were EXTREMELY helpful. I sent them a pre order, and when we arrived they had already split the orders up into family bills so it was easy for us to pay.
So quick with the food and service and it was all just so lovely!!! we would definitely return and recommend
