Great food and staff were excellent. Had a wait for our meals as 1 chef was off sick. We were a party of 8, so time passed quickly chatting. We all enjoyed what we had.

Stopped on the off chance for dinner, following a road diversion and certainly wasn’t disappointed. Homemade steak and ale pie was delicious and beautifully served. Apple and berry crumble with custard was also superb - hubby had the lemon treacle tart, he said is was super!
Definitely a lucky find!

The food was absolutely gorgeous!
The pub looks and feels like a proper pub should.

Sunday lunch was really good. Not an extensive menu but good enough. Large servings and hot. Friendly helpful staff.

Greeted by a lovely lady, probably the boss, made welcome.
Enjoyed the well cooked food and the ambiance.
Will return soon.
