This is a great little pub, almost, but not quite on the seafront.
I've been there a few times and always been welcome.
On this visit I enjoyed a great live band.
Well recommended and popular with locals

Back to the sandpiper for the 4th time in as many years. Super convenient place to stay. Karen and Kevin are the loveliest smilies chatty couple that make you feel like old friends coming to stay. The rooms are very pretty and sparkling clean. The breakfast was delicious. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in ilfracombe. Its become my happy place. X

Has very eclectic style in decor. All sorts of paraphernalia. Sells ales & all the usual suspects in keg and bottles . Has a cracking little old school 10 pin bowling alley actually in the pub . Also has live music. Friendly place close to the harbour area. We'll worth a visit.

Well done Karen for being the most nastiest person I have spoken to this year. Booked a twin room as it was advertised to be told on arrival we only have doubles. When asked if we could make the beds up Kevin through his glasses across the bar before stomping away up the stairs. Karen came down and told us to get out. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Avoid the place is my best advice
