It is a small but very interesting museum lo e by both kids and adults in a beautiful building that used to be a flower market in Covent Garden. Weekends is very busy with families. Your ticket is valid for a year.

Great experience! It was fun to be able to look at and go inside old stock as they would've appeared when in service. The wax figures inside of them are a little creepy, but also add to the dioramas they exist in, in a way. I'm not sure how I feel about the ticket being valid for a year, since I don't know if there's enough to do to justify coming back a second time, but overall I didn't mind it and perhaps I will come back next time I'm in London.

Nice place to learn about the evolution of the public transport system in London. They have several interactive attractions. It is a good choice if you go with children. If you love transport, you have to go. I was three hours covering the half of the museum. Take your time to enjoy

Great little day trip! The museum has a total of 3 floors showing the history of different modes of transportation in London. From carriages and boats to trains, busses and the tube, everything gets a fair share. Each exhibition piece has detailed information and is presented in a very cute and playful manner. Great for kids too. We spent about 3h here. We were particularly impressed by the animation showing the evolution of the tube map over time.

Lovely museum to visit and kids really enjoy it here. Went to a late night event and was able to roam the museum freely to view the spectacular attractions. Well spaced out housed in a huge historic building. Gets very busy in high season, so I would recommend getting a ticket prior to visiting.

Attended their event on Caribbean legacies in the TfL and it was great! They had guest speakers which was great and the exhibition materials were relevant and interesting. They had steel pan performers which was a great touch. The food and drinks was MAJORLY over-priced two rolls and a two drinks should not cost 30£
Otherwise, I would recommend

Manages to blend the rich history of transport in the city, from horses to the Tube, with plenty of activities for kids. There is a little something for everyone in this museum and it has a lot of charm. If you or your child is interested in transportation, engineering, or just trains, this is your best bet!

Only visited the shop, but as a transport person, I thought it was fun to be there and at least see the shop.

The prices of everything is extremely high but I suppose it’s what you have to do to make your money out of the Tube system. £30-60 just for a moquette style cushion, £12 key ring… etc.
There’s a cafe upstairs with all sorts of TFL signs and branding. It all looks quite fun, and would probably go again if I had more time.
