Extremely Disappointing Experience with Ajman Department of Economic Development (DED)

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the Ajman Department of Economic Development (DED). Over the past 8 months, I have been tirelessly following up on a commercial fraud complaint, and despite making 5 complaints regarding the same issue, the DED has repeatedly failed to solve the problem.

One of the major issues I encountered was the lack of support from the DED's call center. It has been an arduous task to even reach someone who could provide assistance. Each time I managed to connect with a representative, they proved to be of no help whatsoever. It is disheartening to experience such a complete lack of support when seeking resolution for a legitimate complaint.

One incident that particularly stands out is when an inspector instructed me to collect a refund from the offending party. However, when I visited the shop to claim my refund, I was met with threats and insults from the shop employees. Shockingly, one of them even bragged about their longstanding fraudulent practices, claiming that nobody could touch them. I promptly reported this to the inspector, expecting some sort of action, but to my dismay, there was no response whatsoever.

It is deeply disconcerting that despite the Ajman government's investment of substantial resources and efforts into the Department of Economic Development, the individuals responsible for providing services in this department have failed to live up to their obligations. They have shown a complete disregard for their government and the mission of protecting consumer rights.

My experience with Ajman DED has been nothing short of a nightmare. The lack of progress, the unresponsive inspector, and the dismissive attitude I encountered are indicative of a deeply flawed system. It is disheartening to witness the waste of government funds and the inefficiency of the department in addressing consumer complaints.

In conclusion, I would strongly advise against relying on the Ajman Department of Economic Development for assistance with commercial fraud complaints or any consumer-related issues. It is a disorganized and ineffective institution that fails to provide the support and resolution that individuals like myself desperately need.

Received one missed call and the case was closed. I was told to open a new case again. I appealed the decision. Case was marked as resolved and closed again without anyone contacting me.

Dont Complain to the they will not solve anything. At the end they will say solve it by yourself and thank you for calling...........People dont waist your time and effort on this department of Consumer complaints.

I dont know about others but personally speaking, they are the best. Very quick response to complaint and problem solved. I am very much thankful to them and i really appreciate their fast and effective approach. Special thanks to mr. Omar for such a great effort.

Best ED in the world!Thanks very much Consumer Protection Department and Mr.Mager separately!That day,when i was did complaint,at 9.30am hi already has contacted with me!Hi send car to Sharjah for free drop me!''Smile foodstuff trading LLC'' hasn't delivery for me very big amount!At 1pm problem has been decided according to law!Before i was complained to Sharjah Consumer Protection Department-they nothing hasn't helped!If u have purchasing bill from lying company-Ajman DED will help to u!
