Lovely nature park with good views across Cardiff and the Vale. The park is built on the old Ferry Road landfill site. There are several pathways which you can wander down. Parking is free for three hours in the car park of the retail park opposite.

Neglected and in a very sorry state, mostly inaccessible. The central hill and paths have been fenced off with signs advising of maintenance taking place. But there's no indication anything is actually being done and no publicised completion date. Only the outermost path is accessible and is now so overgrown with brambles and buddleia that you can't see the river. Not worth visiting, very sad compared to what it used to be like.

An incredible hidden gem at the heart of Cardiff. Beautiful scenic views of all the surrounding areas including Cardiff bay and the principality stadium. Was very lucky to find this monument and wildlife reserve when it's surrounded by the bustling city.
