Fabulous.....I loved it. Good insight into dreadful living conditions and general squalor of the late 1800's London in the East End....and no doubt elsewhere throughout London.
Pat who was on the desk was very pleasant and welcomed her visitors to the museum enthusiastically. I heard other visitors thank her for telephone directions etc.
Thank you Pat. I'll be back next year for another visit. I recommend a visit to the Museum.

The only place in London dedicated to Jack the ripper and his poor victims .spaced out over several floors.with recreated scenes of the period .including a scene of the crime.police Station. Bedroom and mortuary. Very well put together. Complete with a little shop to.and the lady who served me today was lovely.very friendly.welcoming and had a great knowledge of the JR story. So a big thank you to her.please go along and support this. History is sometimes not nice.but places like this are vital. So we can get a first hand view of our past.And if you think you know what suffering is. Then just go along and see how these poor people used to live. Thats suffering. Please support. Thank you.

I think it was really interesting. Definitely not something that everyone will do when touring London. It was very quiet and I do think that it was a bit small however if you had a good look around you could definitely make the most of it. The staff member was really nice and friendly too.

I cycle past this everyday I go to work and very rarely did I play much attention until I looked up and saw the blue plaques. This museum is set over 4 floors and a basement in a Victorian House and it is such a quaint place to visit. It took about 90 minutes to look at everything and read all the information but I do know some people did it is less than an hour. OK, you can do this is less than an hour but I don't think you would truly appreciate what you are looking at. There are some original exhibits here along with photographs of the victims (before and after), the prime suspects and those involved with the investigation.

Because the museum is an an old house, it creates for of an atmosphere and one of the victims lived here too which adds to the Ripper mystery.

I think you could just do one visit here and if you want to spend a couple of hours doing something interesting at a cheap price, then why not come here (it's about s 10 minute walk from Fenchurch Street and Tower Hill).

It was "okay" museum if you're into Jack The Ripper but you can find better and more detail information online. It is more of a visual person for new ripperologist.

Enjoyed this museum and the walking tour associated with it. The museum is easy to find and is setup in a 5 floor thin Victorian building. The guided walking tour started at the Tower station which is a short 10 minute walk from the museum. The tour was led by Sam who was passionate and very knowledgeable on the subject. Throughly enjoyed the tour.

The museum is tucked away and small, but they've used the space well. It's interesting and informative. It felt similar to how the Sherlock Museum is put together. If you're a Ripper enthusiasm, check it out when you're in Whitechapel.

Really enjoyed the time here. Spent about an hour looking around at the various exhibits over the 4 floors.
