I popper by for lunch. I chose the sausage and mash from the specials menu. The sausages were delicious, though 2 would have been suffice, 3 was too many for me. The mash was creamy and with the thick gravy; very tasty.

Amazing food. We had the roast chicken dinner and a double bacon cheeseburger and both couldn't have been better. The taste, consistency and portions were perfect.

Only thing I'd love to see differently is more substitutions in place of products taken off of dishes due to gluten allergies. 9/10, will come again.

Booked in to this little place close to the River and was pleasantly surprised by the whole thing
Our room was really lovely, big windows overlooking the river... Bathroom with a bath, very nice after a day at work, comfortable bed, all really lovely
The bar downstairs was nice as well with a small outside area where you could sit and watch the world go by
There's parking to the rear and side and also roadside parking free from 6pm till 8am
We had breakfast which was served at its sister pub a few metres down the road... We had eaten here the night before... Couldn't fault the breakfast, lots of choice, freshly cooked, and cereal, orange juice etc on help yourself basis
Really lovely stay, close to the centre just a short walk up the hill to see the bridge but perfect location to enjoy Ironbridge

Great food. Really enjoyed the food. Tasty, well presented. Just that they seemed understaffed therefore many beer glasses littered the tables and many tables uncleared.
But the food was tremendous !

My partner and I had the best roast dinner we've ever had last Sunday. We both went for the roast pork with crackling and it was outstanding. I wish we ordered more pigs in blankets as they were amazing! The service was friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be visiting Ironbridge more regularly on a Sunday just for a roast at The Swan Taphouse.

When researching Ironbridge before we came, we had our eye on this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We had a massive chicken sharer board and got some burnt belly pork ends (although not very burnt, no complaints there however). Chicken was juicy and packed with flavour and we had no complaints. We had a couple of drinks with our food also as it was raining outside and we didn’t want to brave getting soaked just yet. The restaurant/bar was very cosy and had very dimmed lighting which made it very homely. Overall a fantastic place and staff were helpful too. I would say that the place is the very accessible for wheelchairs and doesn’t have a ramp but it does have an outdoor seating area.

The meals all came out bone dry. The staff had no clue what they were doing. We waited super long for overcooked food, the 8 hour slow cooked rib came with no gravy and was pretty dry along with the slightly burnt fish and chips. We all explained it’s as bulltong. Portion sizes was good though. They did only offer a discount one meal and was apologetic.

Nicely presented place, great for drinks! The food overall was very good but dessert and service were a let down on the day we visited, I would simply put this down to young inexperienced staff on the day. To be specific, nobody asked how the food was, there was inflexibility of swapping one vegetable for another. Not a reason not to visit, but rather some constructive feedback for the management team.
