Wasn’t lucky enough to see dolphins but saw seals and jumping fishes! Amazing spot for a picnic or chill or both. Beautiful views of the sea/river and highlands.

Beware that most of the time it’s very very windy and cold.

PS: Please pick up your trash before leaving!

Going along kessock road you will see 2 to 3 other villages over the sea and if your at carnac point by the lighththouse you maybe lucky to see 5 dependong on the weather at night ypu find thousands of twinkly lights all over inverness highland .its a beautiful spot to see dolphins.seals .otters and all other types of animals from the nature reserve near by . Froendly locals and friendly tourists day or night its a wonderful place to visit it does get cold especially between the lighthouse and kessock road when the big boats come in .its a very quiet area with buses (number3) which can take you to the coty or telford street to the coop which is near the caledonian canal well worth a visit or living in .

Bonus points is in late summer ypu can get wild berries to make a lovely bramble jam with .

Nearby there is also black bridge furnashings store which has amazing furnature reasonably priced which is worth a look in plus the bagpipe bistro burger van outsode blackbridge furnishings do amazing food like philly cheese steak.fabulous currys. Etc highly recommended to take for some lunch or visit the local spar shop thornbush rd qhich sells amazing cakes.pies.tea etc . The area also has its own allotments .resodents association and they do a marvellous job and hold regular fundays

Bad points .... tourists leave litter or camp all year round outside the locals residential area in campervans when they shouldnt be allowed .

When the River Ness meets the Sea! It's providing views toward Kessock Bridge. Walk around 350m from the road. Park just before the entrance on the open area.

It's basically a peninsular, it has a few benches and a table to sit and have a meal and enjoy the amazing Views of the Kessock bridge. Not too busy.

It’s okay. Just a good view of the bridge. Nothing else interesting. Not really worth the detour.

Never walked out here before. A really good job has been made of sprucing up this area.
