Our waiter was excellent, the food was fantastic and the cost was reasonable.
Great food option as the lounges are beginning to feel bland and stupidly busy.

Nice to have a pot of tea brought to you not just an empty cup you have ti get up and fill up from a machine It’s also not as noisy as the other options in the airport and it’s nice to sit down and eat breakfast in peace not surrounded by larger drinking groups. Will definitely return

The Staff were quite attentive and service was fast and friendly, they don’t add any service charges, so I encourage to leave some tips, as hospitality staff they are here for you to serve food from the morning, and they definitely deserve some extra pay. LoungeKey covers 15£ per person, which is not bad deal.

Eggs Benedict was a disappointment as the bread was stale and cold.
Not very happy with payment (we split the bill), and was told halfway, we have to pay the automatic 10% tips it in full. Because we didn’t tell them before starting to pay, and they didn’t know how to undo it.
Service could have been better as we were all thirsty but water jug was never filled, and we therefore didn’t want to pay the full 10% but was forced to.

Staff looked a bit disinterested.
You have the choice in asking for a menu and a waiter will take your order or you scan a QR code for the impersonal approach and order directly to the table.
A 10% service charge is applied to your bill and if you scanned the QR code it asks you to leave a tip even without having received any service/food. ????????u200d♂️
I’ve ordered the breakfast pancakes which in my opinion was on the small side. 3 small pancakes, drizzled with some honey and a small cup of berry compote. The pancakes were chewy.
The espresso I ordered was more like a depresso! It was definitely not brewed with pressure and it tasted like a low quality filter coffee. Almost like instant coffee. No crema layer at all.
The smoothy (Mango Tango) however was very fresh and tasty.
The total bill came to £20 which I think is way overpriced. But then again, you’re at an airport where retail profit is made.
Overal conclusion: It’s an airport restaurant. The balance between price/quality is way off and the personal touch is non existent.
Check in, get through security, a quick bite and fly away!

Madalina was very friendly, great and even recommended us things to do on our trip to Rome.. Highly recommend!
