According to the blurb, the 'Victoria Quarter' is 'the Knightsbridge of the North'.....which sounds pretty impressive but assumes you have been to knightsbridge. Personally, I would forget comparisions or boasts about 'premium' shopping, just go and gaze at the fantastic architecture. Built around the 1900's it is an amazing example of overblown baroque victoriana........everthing is so over the top in a heavy cast iron & marble sort of way. I did find it a bit awe inspiring....and that's before checking the prices.
We were there on a damp Tuesday and as it was quiet it had a cathedral feel about it. And don't just look up. The mosaic floor impress...actually even the drain coves are a work of art.
The shopping is superb but the real stars are the buildings. Each of the Arcades is different and it is well worth checking them all. As per usual we did not have a huge amount of time and many of the surrounding buildings are very interesting. There is parking right in the centre of the city but we used the park and ride from Ellen Rd, very reasonable (just pay for the bus) and swift.....and helpful staff too. The whole area is pretty accessible but some of the walkway are narrow and I bet it gets crowded at peak times.
The whole area is a credit to those who bult them and to those who restored them after they fell into disrepair. Brilliant...and I don't even like shopping!

An amazing looking set of buildings, full of character and detail. You can walk through the street while staying undercover, looking up at the glass roof, and marvelling at the architecture. It's just a shame the shops here are of brands very few will shop in, as they're all expensive styles of clothes, watches and shoes. At least you can enjoy the space more.

Went to Ivy Asia for a treat before theatre visit. Food was so delicious and the decor is absolutely stunning. Very nice experience.

I love to visit some of my favourite shops at Victoria Quarter Shopping Centre, such as Vivienne Westwood, Coach, Kheils, and Harvey Nichols. The aroma of Creed Aventus hits you as you walk into the shopping centre ???? Classy feel.

Went for a day trip and the place is brilliant, nice variety of bespoke shops as well as mainstream ones. Nice architecture and well maintained.

I love The Victoria Quarter. It's beautiful and well looked after. If you have never been, you are missing out. The Rabbit Hole Cafe will serve you an excellent coffee and The Ivy will feed you in luxurious surroundings and with impeccable service. You can then shop til you drop at the fantastic array of upmarket shops. Love it.

Good shopping arcade featuring some up market stores such as Molton brown, Harvey nickels, Kurt geiger. It has a very pleasant cafe in the middle and the Ivy at one end.
