Wonderful museum, inspiring and informative about a great man. Lovely volunteer guide. Very apt for our times. Loved it. Free, but important to give what donation you can to keep it going.

We were thrilled to see such a comprehensive exhibit as we are from Martinez, California and share the John Muir legacy. Our dear friend Will Collin and the team at the birthplace have done a wonderful job with both the permanent and rotating exhibits. Well done!!

Such a well presented and fact filled workshop presented by Tracy and David. We all left feeling inspired by the great John Muir.

Excellent museum - although the building is original, the interior is a modern museum rather than a mock-up of what it would have been like. The information is very well presented, and the two staff that I spoke to were friendly and helpful. And entry is free.

Very nice memorial to John Muir. The 3 levels of museum were really interactive and well made. I'm a native Californian and outdoors enthusiast, so this place is a memorial to one of my heroes!

Interesting place with excellent biography of John Muir. Determined and interesting character. Worth a visit.

The story of John Muir beautifully told through displays, videos and interactive exhibits. We didn’t expect to be so moved by John’s story.
