I had excellent service after sending an email explaining that my hearing aids had stopped working. I got a same day appointment and was supplied with new ones. My initial contact with the call centre advisor was very unhelpful and I got the impression she wasn’t interested. Maybe the email goes to a different department.

4th November 2021. As with others posting here, now been on phone for nearly 1 hour. First call cut off when I was "first in queue". Second call, now ringing (after being "first in queue" for over 5 minutes with no reply.
Forced to put one star because you cannot post zero or even minus.

Trying to cancel an appointment because I couldn't wait 6-8 week on waiting list for hearing aid repair so I have gone on line and bought the part and fitted it myself, going about my daily activities without a hearing aid was very dangerous but that didn't motivate this department, so I will keep trying but there is a limit on the number of phone calls I am willing to make when the receptionist refuses to answer the phone but know doubt a black mark will go against me If i don't perceiver on the phone to cancel my appointment

Appalling service like other reviewers I to spent a total of two hours on the phone to no avail. Called in person to be met with the same result. Quite frankly they do not provide any service for NHS customers. One star is far to generous. Heads will have to roll if anything like a service is to be established.

This service is simply in accessible for many of us with hearing impairments.

I have to get others to call on my behalf and frankly when it can take up to 30 minutes to get through not many friends or family members are willing to wait.

I have been trying for 3 days to get a call answered. Is an email address or message service too much to ask?

I agree terrible phone service I have been on the phone for 25 mins number 4 to start in the queue. When it got to number 1 then started to ring after 5 minutes of it ringing & no one answered I put the phone down.

Dreadful service .. called asking if my elderly father could have his hearing aid batteries posted out to him as we don’t live locally and he was down to his last battery. The response from the person on the phone after 2 attempts to get a reply on the phone: ‘only if you send us a self addressed envelope and it will take around 10 days to get them out to him’! In the days of pharmacies delivering medication foc to customers on a daily basis you would think this NHS facility would have a smarter approach and consider partnership working. So now an old man will potentially sit in silence because he forgot to mention he was running out of batteries and we can’t get to sort it out until at least a week later. Cheers to the NHS for the cost of a stamp!!

Been two weeks trying to get an appointment. Phone just rings till you get to first in the queue then no one answers. Needs sorting urgently. Where is the manager.
