The idea that the Scottish Highland rule and the English monarchy were determined at this location, was an historic detail I did not know.
Knowledgeable guides and an incredible experience. Highly recommend!

A great way to spend an afternoon. Do the exhibition inside first and then do the guided tour of the battlefield. Very knowledgeable guide who made the 1hr tour interesting. Lovely cafe with a good choice of food and drinks.

Well-presented historic site, the actual battlefield that can be explored on foot and a well-curated visitor centre/museum.
I feel I know much more about Scottish/British history as well as the actual battle events.
Worth visiting!

We enjoyed the museum and the battlefield tour. The museum was laid out very well, telling stories from both sides of the battle. The tour guide, Heather, was informative and entertaining!

The museum was alright, a little too much reading and not enough stuff to actually look at in my opinion. But what made it all worth it was our battlefield tour guide, Gavin. He is an expert storyteller! He took time between stops to get to know the people in our group, asking questions and answering just as many. He gave an expertly condensed history and left me feeling quite inspired!

Really enjoyed the Culloden museum tour guides sharing their incredible knowledge of the tragic history. The outside battlefield leaves you with quiet sad reflection. Very well done on preserving and sharing this important site & history for everyone.

The exhibition is very detailed, immersive and I loved that it shows the perspectives of both sides. The last stop was interactive, where it's allowed to touch the weapons or try on a kilt of the highland warriors.
The battlefield itself is just a grassy meadow, where you can see the positions of the armies. We didn't walk all the way around, the exhibition was more than enough.

Amazing experience, a total must if you are in the Highlands. Learn all about the 'bloody battle'. A very eerie/emotional place. Lots to see and take in. Cafe, toilets, visitor centre and gift shop onsite. Free to walk around or pay a fee to walk around the visitor centre to see/hear the full story. Lots of artifacts too. Very clean and well looked after. Staff super friendly and helpful ????
