Great place for a nice scenic walk and especially if you have a dog. Generally quiet through the week but can get busy at weekends. Parking can be an issue but usually not too bad.

Equidistant between Langbank and Kilmacolm this area of forested hillside is a great place for a walk. The cairn at the top provides expansive views across to Dumbarton, Cardross, Helensburgh, and down the Gareloch.
There is a small layby on Gallahil Road (What3words - file.dupe.division) that accomodates about three cars, or you can walk to it from the villages of Kilmacolm or Langbank.

Beautiful! So quiet to walk your dogs off lead and let them run around as they please. Huge place, decide your own paths and take it from there. So peaceful.

Wow, what a view. Absolutely loved this walk. Once you get to the picnic bench it's just breathtaking.

A beautiful spot with a stone cairn on a knoll. Easy 5+ min walk on short grass paths, and stiles to negotiate the wire sheep fences. There's a wooden picnic table below the knoll. Coniferous plantations nearby.
Stunning vistas over the Clyde estuary to the Ardmore peninsular, Ben Lomond and the hills of Arrochar. Popular at sunset in good weather. Recommended for a short visit.
