Dr Elliot visited my mother after having to literally beg her to come out, didn't notice any signs my mother was going through the stages of a heart attack, she passed away 6 hours later. My mother never received any after care from a nasty fall that put her in hospital previous. She had a broken foot that was not picked up by this doctors but by the hospital when she had to go because of the pain. I got my father out of this doctors straight away.

I have worked for the NHS for over 20 years as a registered professional and as such am aware of the pressures on the service. With this knowledge I would never attempt to make an appointment unless it absolutely necessary. I have made two contacts with this practice in the three years since registration. During my recent contact I felt such an inconvenience during a telephone conversation that lasted 3mins max , I feel In fear of ever needing to access the gateway to the NHS again. I have never felt comfortable consulting Drs, this most recent episode has exacerbated this to the point that I wouldn’t have the confidence to seek help needed in the future.

It took two whole years and three GPs to get them to write one referral it's not that they didn't agree that I needed the referral, they told me they would do it and never did. I developed multiple further conditions due to their negligence. I requested my medical notes as I needed them for something and they were an absolute mess I am a very chronically ill person and none of my conditions were listed as significant and some not even recorded and lots of clinic letters were not filed or were lost.
The GPs are generally awful and do not read relevant notes and make inaccurate judgments based of opinion rather than medical history. I told one GP I cannot walk, she told me to do Pilates and take an anti-inflammatory diet, I think that says all you need to know about this practice.
I have heard it used to be great, I would avoid if you have anything more serious than tonsillitis.

Not happy with telling reception then having to explain myself to a Dr what's the point, and stop telephone calls from Dr's because if you are ringing up you want to see a Dr bring back pre covid when you didn't feel a burden to ring your own Dr and be listened to without a battle and communication would help between departments

This used to be a brilliant practice. There are still some amazing doctors there trying to hold things together. It has turned into a free for all. Old people going in daily for company because they are lonely and taking up appointments. I rang at 9.15am and every appointment for the day was gone. If I wanted anything closer than 2 weeks away ('semi-urgent', apparently), I had to ring and hope they had something the next day. A lot of the doctors don't care and want you off the phone as quickly as possible. Other practices have returned to face appointments but Corbett remains hiding behind the phones. It's so disappointing seeing what has happened to this once great practice.

This practice was once very good. However, it is not anymore. The receptionist are mostly confrontational, and appear to make NO allowance for people that are feeling ill or have mental health problems.
