Do not use this company - they are a scam.

Having requested a quote on the website, I then received an email stating ‘confirmed’ despite not even knowing the price for our journey from Worcester to Heathrow airport. It took a couple of email exchanges before I was quoted the price of £89 to which I thought was great value. I should have known it was too good to be true and, considering a lot of the emails were a bit odd (‘can you remind us what your question was’ etc) I wish I had been a bit more savvy.

Eventually I had confirmed all of the information I needed over email - dates, times, prices, locations etc.

I was then delighted to receive a text at 6pm the night before on Sunday (our collection time was 5:30am the next day) to advise that we had been allocated a driver and that all was confirmed. About 5 minutes later I received a text asking me what price had been agreed. I thought that was a bit strange but wrote back advising it was £89 and I had email confirmation. I was then told that was far too little for a 123 mile journey and that there had been a mistake. I called the office and they wanted £300! This was all on a Sunday night, when they knew that there would be no where else open to book transport.

Absolutely disgusting and left a real sour taste to the start of our honeymoon. Needless to say we cancelled and drove ourselves to the airport.

Absolute con artists.

There is something not quite right about this company. I called many times (in correct telephone on their website) with regards to a Bentley car for a wedding. They wanted a deposit immediately without sending any invoice or contract. I finally spoke to someone who gave little explanation for their actions and then said he didn't know it was for a wedding and so it would be an extra £500. I understandably declined. Unprofessional and disappointing. I'd advise to stay clear.

Seriously, Jonh Doe! Come on google do something about this you can’t just give yourself a review to up your score.

In response to Heathrow London Chauffeurs:

We did think £83 was very good. Much better than any other company. Which is why we confirmed it 2/3 times, just to make sure that we were not reading it wrong. Every time we were told £83. The reason we picked you to take us to the airport was for the price, otherwise we would have gone elsewhere.

You cannot confirm the wrong price 2/3 times and then expect us to pay more the day before the trip, that is extortion. You should honour the price you gave and the price you confirmed 2/3 times. It is not our fault you don’t read your emails properly. It is not our fault you gave us the wrong price 2/3 times. It is your fault and therefore you should accept the consequences.

To everyone that is thinking of using this company, I think their response to my previous review is telling - “We don’t do charity”. Could you imagine if anyone else said that to you - walking into a high street shop and being told at the till that the price will be over three times what is shown on the tag and when you complain the staff say “we don’t do charity”.

Update: I completely forgot about this company and the review that I wrote until I got an email from google saying my review was doing well.

To my surprise I found that Heathrow London Chauffeurs had responded to my review almost 2 years after it was originally posted with a number of accusations.

1. They have given out some detail about me and my partner. I am sure that giving even part of a post code must violate some sort of GDPR regulation. I have followed this up with ICO and will contacting google to have this removed.

2. Heathrow London Chauffeurs claim that all my reviews are 1*. You can see for yourself that I have given other star ratings a mixture of different levels. Visit my profile to see for yourself.

3. Heathrow London Chauffeurs claim that we asked for a last minute discount. This is not true. They confirmed a price and tried to up the price at the last minute. The new quoted price was over 3 times higher than the original.

I will be contacting google to have the reply to my review removed, but all the lies show what sort of company this is.

Also, can I add that, Idris, we were told, was the name of our driver. Surprise, surprise an Idris has given a 5* review. Coincidence? Surely, this must break some sort of Google T&C.

Me and my wife went to airport and the driver was really friendly his name was Thomas he was excellent and had a very formal S class with wonderful classical music.
