This was our second stay at Kirnan in Torrnalaich Cottage. We love it here! Gemma and Rob are generous and friendly hosts and the location in Kilmichael Glen is absolutely stunning. The cottage is warm and cosy, and has been thoughtfully restored using a clever mix of antiques alongside new pieces. The high quality of the renovation here is not typical of typical holiday cottages (we travel a lot) and you can feel the love for this place. The cottage has everything you need for a romantic night in with dinner by the open fire and there are some great restaurants nearby for eating out. We will be back!

Everything about Kirnan Estate was perfect. It was a great base to explore the local area and all there is to do, and when the exploring was done, the cottage was a lovely retreat.
Everything we needed was right there, wrapped up in a luxury experience
Gemma and Rob are great hosts and have advice at hand.
I will definitely be back.

Just back from a marvellous week-end in the Chapel Cottage. The cottage has lots of space and is very tastefully done. The rooms are large, and the bathrooms and kitchen are luxurious. Kirnan Estate is very tranquil and there's lots of wildlife to see. The owners were very kind and helpful. Five stars for sure.

We have recently returned from a wonderful break at Kirnan Estate in Argyll. We stayed in the newly refurbished Chapel Cottage, which has wonderful amenities and is tastefully decorated.
We overlooked the gardens and had the wonderful sight of a wild Sika deer stag grazing from some of the overhanging bushes. He pitched up again late one evening !
Our few days were spent in exploring the wonderful local coastline, walking on the many paths in the area and doing some fishing, both in Rob's stretch of the River Add, and down in the Add estuary.
A wonderful peaceful few days, we shall return !!

Kirnan Beg is a wonderful find. Nestled in the beautiful grounds of Kirnan Estate, you're spoilt for scenery and walking opportunities as well as yummy local coffee shops and eateries. The views and country air were well worth the trip.
The cabin was clean, well stocked and so very peaceful. It had everything you could need for a cosy day of reading or playing board games, to prepare food, and then to enjoy a restful sleep. The furnishings were beautiful and so well thought out, and it was easy to heat which was handy since I stayed in February.
Gemma was a wonderful host with lots of tips and ideas for things to do in the local area and beyond.
I didn't want to leave and will absolutely be back.

I visited Kirnan Curated a lovely pop up shop in beautiful surroundings. A carefully 'curated' display of lovely things. With such kind, friendly and welcoming hosts.
