The new market is way better than the old one, it's more organized and it has a central AC, you need to plan for your visit to be at the early morning to get fresh fruits and vegetables.
Bargaining is allowed and highly recommended "on a range 2 to 10 AED maximum based on the goods you're buying"

The Vegetables and fruits market is cheaper than the other famous markets you used to shop from specially if you're getting a big portions

بصراحة مش عارفة فين البلدية من المهزلة اللى فى سوق دى
كنت بشترى من بطاطة حلو ووانا واقفة لاقيت البوكس طالع منه صرصار للاسف ولما رفضت اخدها قالى دا عادى وكله كدة
وللاسف لما لاقيت ع باقى البياعين الكراتين شكلها مقذذ جدا وفيها زى طينه يا ريت يكون فى اهتمام ونضافه من البياعين
