Regular visitor here for over 15 years, new owners are fantastic. Food is on point , staff are friendly and attentive . Atmosphere is always receptive and friendly.must be one of If not top pubs for food and beers in kford. Lovely bi beer garden is also a big plus.

I have recently moved to the area stumbled across this pub. What a . I had a meal and it arrived promptly and hot in temperature....
We had a drink previous to ordering a meal this was a prompt service with friendly banter. I would highly recommend this establishment for food, drink and the ambiance its a pity there aren't a few more places like this. For someone who had just moved to the area the welcome was second to none. Thank you team see you very soon

Very efficient and pleasant people. The food is really good. Personally I could do with more fruit based alternatives for 'afters'. I didn't like the waffle..too hard and not enough ice cream or sauce. I am booked in for myself and my family for my birthday very soon and are so pleased I can take my well behaved dog Bruno, who sat under the table the whole time and slept. This is a game changer for me as I can be very isolated. Thank you.

Popped in for the first time in years and couldn't believe the difference, its now clean, very freindly staff and the beer is cold and could not fault the food. Really nice to see three generations working together grandad, son and grandson x couldnt recommend the cod and chips more.

Small but pleasant and comfortable dining area... there's always a lively atmosphere in the area which shows a variery of sporting events. Friendly staff, great food offers... always worth a visit. The two bottles of wine for £15 on a Saturday evening was a welcome surprise.

Went for a birthday meal with 8 members of my family. It was a Sunday so we all chose to have the roast dinner, Bad Choice, carrots were not cooked and I don't mean they were al-dente, they were hard, same with the sprouts, the beef came out looking like pulled pork, and the gravy was like coloured water and just as thin you could see through it, and I had the Turkey and am still waiting for the cranberry sauce, also the all the meals were,at best luke warm. To top it all off, when my wife asked if the gravy was to follow he retorted "I've only got 1 pair of hands"
If they can't cope with roasts on a Sunday then don't do them, we would quite happily had something off the normal menu

Went for a drink while the sun was out but had to leave as there was small flies everywhere she really as it's a nice place but couldn't sit there with flies going into drink and all over us

Very clean and friendly place. Asked if I could leave my car as I wanted a drink and the manager even had a chat and gave me the green light. Overall experience was perfect. Thank you Swan
