Gorgeous food , good portions amazing size portions for the children, lovely people , nice , good prices and chilled environment . I googled this place as we had a trip to foxlake and the black Agnes came up foxlake to there was 7 minutes so glad we visited here. Visited from Edinburgh definitely be back

My wife and myself decided that the pub looked OK, so took a gamble. We were in for a surprise. The landlady was brilliant, very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, the best pub grub I have ever had. When we left I shook the chef's hand, what a wonderful cook. If you're in the area, go in, you won't be disappointed. 5 STAR ????

Definitely a nice local place for a big dinner. The portion was very generous and I must admit that I struggled eating it all. You certainly get your moneys worth here! The fish and chips were perfectly crispy and fresh. Mac and cheese was good, but not as exciting.
The bar next door was perhaps more "cozy" in it's decor, but I found the restaurant clean and with friendly staff.

Myself and my boyfriend went to foxlake for the day and decided to eat here afterwards. The food was lovely and the service was very good. We had haggis balls for started and the peppercorn sauce was amazing! I kept some of it for my chips! The steak pie was delicious ???? and the burger with cheese was really nice and served with plenty onion rings and chips! Good portion size for both meals. The homemade brownie was also very nice! Would definitely recommend if your visiting dunbar!

Nice wee restaurant with friendly helpful staff fast efficient service.
A limited menu but all that you could wish for in starter's and mains but very little sweets available.
I had the battered fish which was well cooked and enjoyable.
There was a good selection of drinks available, unfortunately only instant coffee available, maybe invest in a coffee machine even just a small tassimo machine would have made a difference.
All in all a nice wee restaurant with excellent food.

It was a lovely place and great food after a long day visiting Dunbar. I really recommend it. The service was very friendly and felt like visiting friends.
