Excellent workmanship on our small retaining wall.
Has added a touch of class to the driveway.
Our neighbours have all commented on the quality of the wall.
Very pleased and would happily recommend Alex for any stonemasonry work.

Alex was recommended to me by McMillan’s stonemasons in South Shropshire, having gone out on his own. My project suited as I wished to do some labor but required an experienced stonemason. I was fortunate that a local farmer allowed me to collect stone from one of his fields. Alex came to review my project and advise on the mortar mix. Once purchased and with the stones laid out , clustered in size and shape, we set to work.
I can say that Alex worked a full eight hour shift each time he came. He was respectful and diligent. His daily rate was very competitive. Together we finished the project on time and within budget. He delivered what I was looking for.
I would highly recommend him.

Amazing work done, he takes his time and does a full 8 hr shifts each day to make sure he gets his work done. I have seen his work first hand it is very impressive and well done.

Alex repointed our old stone cottage which was in a very poor state. He took time and care to match stone that needed replacing and matched the mortar up with the stone. The property is made out of mud stone which is not easy to work with, but his workmanship is excellent and we now have a very lovely property which will now stand the test of time.
I cannot recommend Alex highly enough.

Statue repairs .
Alex is a perfectionist in his skills, restored a Mable statue with great detail also takes a lot of pride in his work . Very much recommend
