I live here and have been doing so for some 18 months. After having seen some shoddy accommodation in various apartment blocks around the city, to be politely shown a clean, neat, airy, cared for flat with furniture polished, bed made, pots and pans put away was a joy. The flat suited my needs 18 months ago and still suits them now.
The building is well maintained, safe and secure, and clean. There is a technical/maintenance man and a janitor, both of whom keep the block functioning round the clock. These two gentlemen are polite, helpful, unobtrusive ... and at the end of a quick phone call.
The flats are already furnished, equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils. You can start living here as soon as you move in.
The neighbours within the building are all polite and quiet. I occasionally meet one or two at the lift or front door: neighbourly chat ensues for a few minutes, nothing intrusive, and then we are quiet behind our front doors.
The neighbours in adjoining blocks can very occasionally be noisy which is a nuisance. Usually, however, once night falls, people in the area respect others' needs for quiet time at home after a busy, hard day at work.
The flats and the building are secure, but you are not living in a goldfish bowl; these are lovely apartments for quiet professional working people and small families in a nice lively area with lots of nationalities co-existing; there are plenty of small shops, barbers, cafés, restaurants, beauty salons and so on. Thumbay Hospital (private) is close by and very good.
There are studio flats, as well as 1- and 2-bedroom flats.
If you are new to Ajman, and need accommodation, I strongly suggest you contact Palm 1 (or Palm 2) Time Residence.

Well maintained building, good housekeeping and old location. Although no shaded parking but still outside parking is free so far

What a brilliant idea, the men's shed is for all who relish the idea of making /crafting what ever you want, there is no age limit, it's just £3 a week for as meny visits as you like, most of the tools needed are already there, there are so many projects there just waiting to be started it's amazing. Dress up warm if you intend to visit as it's chilly until the boilers fixed.
