Really didn't enjoy our food this visit, we both had the Sunday lunch, my meat was chewy. And our Yorkshire puddings was very over done. We had to ask for extra gravy as the meal was dry, definitely wasn't worth the £15.50 for mine and £16 paid for my husband's 3 meat roast!! Would definitely avoid that meal in future and visit somewhere that provides a carvery instead.. would definitely be more value for money!

The service is very slow, but the food is delicious. I noticed the staff were more interested in talking in the kitchen than attending the tables. I took my children to the toilet 3 times and every time I walked past they were in the kitchen laughing and joking. It took 20 minutes for them to bring a straw.

But I do want to highlight the food, it is absolutely delicious

Very nice pub with a lovely garden area, dogs allowed. They had a good selection of beer and although we didn't eat the food look tasty. Enjoyed a flyover from some old RAF and USAF planes

Good service, polite and friendly. The vegan choices were yummy. Nice to have more than ice cream to choose from for a pudding.

This place could be great, but it is currently very mediocre and cheap feeling. The room we had felt like a dark cell with ugly lighting and a largely obstructed window. The bathroom looked nice and modern but all the plumbing was wonky, making it difficult to have a nice warm shower. Breakfast was equally disappointing. Food looked ok on the plate, but tasted like everything was just done in a microwave. The staff were pretty nice though and the room was clean.

Rooms quite pricey for what they are, paint work in need of redoing on the skirtings and door frames. Sofa bed mattress very thin. The bathroom was the best part of the room! Staff very pleasant and helpful. The service was very good for food considering how busy it was there.

Good range of beers, both traditional and craft, plus wines and gins ect. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. I had the sea bass risotto with scallops - well balanced flavours. Apparently the burger was excellent as was the hunters chicken, so all in all, recommended. Also, dog friendly, which was good, as we had one!

We visited for lunch in the restaurant. We were served by Sammie who was very helpful and naturally friendly. Due to a food intolerance it was difficult to find a meal without the ingredient in but Sammie was wonderful at working with the chef to help find a solution for a suitable meal. We will eat here again in future (if they don't mind us returning :) Thank you
