ordered £29.50 rib eye, asked for mid rare

got thin steak, pretty well done
average salad and chips

with some back and forth, got sum refunded for my beer as a good gesture from their side, but to be honest, that thin rib eye is a joke, it’s must be like 2 fingers thick not like the one they’ve served, oh my days … :(

While staying in Holland Park I ate at this pub and had the best lamb cutlets... it was a beautifully presented plate of food and I enjoyed every mouthful....was so impressed I went back three nights later and had another delicious meal this time I tried the chicken equally as good and my compliments to the chef. Two of the best meals I ate during my time in London!

Had an incredible, 'Sunday roast' experience here after a stroll through Holland Park. Considering the age of the place it must have been redone recently. Service was great, bathrooms very nice, food was very good. A classic English pub experience (i.e. you eat a meal there).

Don’t usually leave reviews but so grateful for attentive service here wanted to. Wonderful experience. Really well run. Great girl behind the bar, efficient and good knowledge of the drinks. Highly recommend and will be coming again.

First came here by chance in 2019. Found it again in 2022. Great seating options. Very cozy. It’s a bit loud, but manageable. Staff is friendly. Food is excellent. The Camembert starter is to die for.
